King Abdullah host meeting of former conjoined twins

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz hosted today at his farm in Jenadriyah a meeting of former conjoined twins who have undergone separation surgeries in the Kingdom over the last sixteen years.  King Abdullah II of Jordan, who was meeting with King Abdullah at the farm, also was present at the reunion.

Over two decades, doctors at Saudi hospitals have performed twelve successful separation surgeries for conjoined twins from Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Malaysia, Egypt, the Philippines, Poland, Morocco, and Iraq.  Operations to separate three conjoined twins from Saudi Arabia, Oman and Cameroon are expected in the coming months.
