Arab foreign ministers meet at the Saudi Embassy prior to conference

Arab League foreign ministers held a meeting at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington yesterday prior to attending today’s peace conference in Annapolis.  

Attendees included Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa, and the foreign ministers of Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, the UAE and Yemen. Deputy foreign ministers attended on behalf of Syria and Sudan.

After the meeting, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice hosted a dinner for conference participants at the State Department.
