Saudi Arabia and Kenya sign a wide-ranging agreement for cooperation

Saudi Arabia and Kenya signed an agreement of cooperation in Riyadh today. The agreement provides for cooperation in a number of areas, including economic, investment, education, scientific, cultural, information, and tourism.


The accord was signed by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar Madani and Kenyan Foreign Minister Rafael Togo.

In related news, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz met with Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki in Riyadh. During the meeting, the president welcomed the new agreement and said that he expects it to enhance relations between the two countries.
