Governors of Makkah and Asir Provinces sworn in

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz today swore in Prince Khalid Al-Faisal as the new Governor of Makkah Province. Prince Khalid, who previously served as Governor of Asir Province, was appointed to the post yesterday. He replaces the late Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz, who died May 5 after a lengthy illness. 

Also today, King Abdullah swore in the new Governor of Asir Province, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz.

The ceremony was also attended by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz.
