Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz met with Saudi student Ahmed Khalid Al-Naimi and his father at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh today. Al-Naimi recently won an award for a science project he presented at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Al-Naimi, a 16-year-old student from Dammam, was recognized for his project “A Smart Shoe for Blind People,” which involves equipping shoes with electronic sensors and alarms to guide the blind.
 
The Crown Prince presented Al-Naimi with a certificate of appreciation and expressed his pride in the student’s accomplishment. In turn, Al-Naimi gave the Crown Prince a copy of his research.
