The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministers of Industry began their 25th conference in Riyadh.  The Secretary-General of the GCC, Abdulrahman Al-Atiyyah, addressed the council by saying that 2007 was the end of a transitional period with the introduction of new requirements of the GCC common market.
