Saudi Arabia donates $1 million for victims of Japanese earthquake

Saudi Arabia has donated $1 million to Japan to aid the victims of the deadly earthquake that struck the northwestern province of Niigata in July 2007. Ten people were killed and more than 800 injured in the quake, which also left 12,000 people homeless.

Saudi Ambassador to Japan Faisal Trad handed over the check earlier this week to the governor of Niigata.
