Madani participates in Arab League delegation to promote peace in Lebanon

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar Madani arrived in Beirut today as part of a high-ranking Arab League delegation to promote national dialogue in Lebanon.

Established at the June 15 extraordinary Arab League meeting, the delegation is headed by Secretary-General Amr Moussa and includes representatives from Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Qatar and Egypt. It aims to contact Lebanese political leaders as well as concerned regional and international parties and press for the resumption of national dialogue.
