US information technology giant HP and the Khobar-based IT company Al-Bilad Arabia last week announced a strategic partnership in Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas industry, according to a statement posted on Al-Bilad Arabia’s website.
The partnership will bring HP’s global consulting experience to the Saudi market and help oil and gas customers improve their business process innovation and flexibility. It will also facilitate Al-Bilad Arabia’s continuing expansion in the Gulf market.
“We are very excited about the great potential with of our partnership with HP as it will help us deliver high quality services to our customers in the oil and gas industry,” Al-Bilad Arabia Vice President Nabil Reda said in the statement. Reda added that the partnership would help customers get the most out of their IT investment.
A presence in the Middle East since 1968, HP is the largest technology and solutions provider in the region. It has 670 employees and subsidiaries in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Al-Khobar, Cairo, Ramallah, and Oman.
