King Abdullah concludes visit to Jordan

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz concluded his visit to Jordan today, the last stop on a five-nation tour that has included visits to Spain, France, Poland and Egypt. 


Before departing for Saudi Arabia today, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques met with King Abdullah II of Jordan at the guest residence in Amman. Both kings then attended a ceremony the Basman Palace to launch the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Residential City near Amman.

Yesterday, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Jordanian king held a closed-door meeting in which they discussed key issues, particularly the situation in Palestine, efforts to restart the Middle East peace process, Lebanon, Iraq, and ways to expand bilateral cooperation.

Last night, King Abdullah II hosted a state dinner in honor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his accompanying delegation.
