Pakistani President Musharraf departs for Saudi Arabia

President Pervez Musharraf left Islamabad for Saudi Arabia today. The Pakistani leader will meet with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz during the one-day visit.

In remarks before his departure, President Musharraf said that the Saudi-Pakistani meeting would focus on issues of mutual interest, including terrorism and extremism.

The president also plans to perform Umrah while in the Kingdom. After departing Saudi Arabia, he heads to the UAE for similar talks with its leaders.
