The Directorate-General of Passports has warned all visitors who come to Saudi Arabia on Umrah visas not to overstay their visa period and subject themselves to penalties.

In addition, those who aid visa overstayers by providing accommodations, work or transport will be liable for punishments including imprisonment and a SR 10,000 [$2,681] fine.
