Crown Prince Sultan pays official visit to Kuwait

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz today paid an official visit to Kuwait at the invitation of Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Sabah.

When he arrived at the airport in Kuwait City, Crown Prince Sultan said that his visit highlights the strength of Saudi-Kuwaiti relations. It comes within the framework of ongoing contacts and consultations between Saudi and Kuwaiti leaders, he noted.

The Crown Prince and the Emir held talks that focused on the latest Gulf, Arab, Islamic and international developments, in particular the situations in Palestine and Iraq. Bilateral cooperation and ways to boost Saudi-Kuwaiti ties were also discussed.

Yesterday, Crown Prince Sultan gave a wide-ranging interview to the Kuwaiti daily Al-Rai. He praised the “model” Saudi-Kuwaiti relationship and discussed a number of key issues, including counterterrorism, Iraq, Palestine and Saudi development.
