King Abdullah to pay 13-day official visit to Europe, Turkey

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz will depart tomorrow for a 13-day official tour that includes Britain, Italy, Germany and Turkey, the Royal Court announced today. It will begin with a three-day official visit to Britain.

The tour aims to bolster bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the four abovementioned countries. King Abdullah will discuss ways to do so as well as regional and international issues with their respective leaders.

Yesterday, King Abdullah met with French Defense Minister Herve Morin and Russian Deputy Defense Minister Mikhail Dimitriyev. Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz met separately with both officials in Jeddah today.
