Grand Mufti denounces terrorism in sermon at Namira Mosque

The Kingdom’s Grand Mufti Shaikh Abdulaziz Al-AsShaikh led the prayers at the Namira Mosque today and delivered a sermon, in which he stressed that there is no justification in Islam for criminal acts such as terrorism, which is forbidden by the Shari’ah. He emphasized the importance of safeguarding the fundamentals of Islam from distortion by extremists or ignorant individuals.  

The Grand Mufti also urged pilgrims to fulfill the Hajj rituals in the tradition of the Prophet.
