Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz traveled to Kuwait today to pay his respects upon the death of Emir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, 78.

A statement issued by the Royal Court praised Sheikh Jaber for his wise and visionary service to his religion, homeland and nation.

Kuwait’s Cabinet announced today that Sheikh Jaber would be succeeded by his cousin, Crown Prince Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah.
