Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) posted a record revenue of SR 14.6 billion [$3.8 billion] in 2005, with net profits of SR 500 million [$133.3 million], the Arab News reported today.
Director-General Dr Khaled bin Bakr made the announcement at a recent meeting of the airline’s board of directors, which was presided over by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, who is also chairman of the board.
Bin Bakr said that the airline transported more than 16.8 million passengers in 2005, one million more than in 2004.
