Saudi-Bahraini business forum opens in Manama

The Al-Eqtisadiah forum for Saudi and Bahraini businessmen opened in Manama, Bahrain yesterday, reported the Arab News. It is the first such forum organized by the daily Al-Eqtisadiah.

In opening remarks at the forum, Bahraini Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa emphasized the strong Saudi-Bahraini relationship, and said he was optimistic that Saudi investments in Bahrain would continue to grow thanks to government incentives.

Chairman of the Saudi Research & Marketing Group (SRMG) Prince Faisal bin Salman, who attended the opening session, said that the forum’s objectives included introducing investment opportunities in both nations, encouraging joint ventures, and promoting dialogue among business leaders.

At the sidelines of the forum, an exhibition of products from 57 Saudi and Bahraini companies was on display.
