Danish Ambassador apologizes for offensive cartoons

Danish Ambassador to the Kingdom Hans Klingenberg today apologized to Muslims throughout the world for offensive cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) that were published by Danish newspapers. Denmark and its people denounce the cartoons, he said during a meeting with Chairman of the Shura Council Saleh bin Homaid.

The controversy over the offensive cartoons has sparked riots throughout the Muslim world.
