  King Abdullah lays foundation stone for KACFH headquarters

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz today attended a ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the permanent headquarters of the General Secretariat of the King Abdullah Charitable Housing Foundation in Riyadh.

King Abdullah, who is also head of the Foundation, donated the 10,000 square meters of land worth SR 15 million [$4 million] for the headquarters.

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz established the foundation three years ago in order to provide affordable housing for the poor in various regions of the Kingdom. It has already completed a large number of affordable housing units, which offer facilities such as health care and education.
