In a session presided over by Vice Chairman Mahmoud Taybah, the Shura Council today amended Article Three of the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 67 as follows:

“A committee formed from the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health and the Food and Drug General Commission investigates incidents of food poisoning, defines cause and culprit, determines responsibility and submits recommendations including recommended punishment to the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs to decide on levying appropriate punishment. Punishment ruling can be appealed before the Court of Grievances within 60 days of reporting the decision.”
