The Ministry of Defense and Aviation yesterday denied a German magazine report that Saudi Arabia is secretly working on a nuclear program in cooperation with Pakistani experts.

The report, which appeared in the March 30 edition of Cicero magazine, cited Western security sources.

The Ministry said that the report is completely baseless, and reiterated the Kingdom’s longstanding position in support of ban on nuclear proliferation in the region.
