Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has approved a number of educational projects in the Kingdom.

The projects include the establishment of a pharmacology college at Umm al-Qura University in Makkah; a sociology college in Dawadmi that will be affiliated with the Riyadh-based King Saud University; a college for literature and the sciences in Wadi al-Dawassir, also affiliated with King Saud University; and a sociology college in Abha, to be affiliated with the King Khalid University in Riyadh.
