Foreign Minister meets with President Bush

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal met with President George W. Bush at the White House today. Saudi Ambassador to the US Prince Turki Al-Faisal also attended the meeting.

White House Press Secretary Tony Snow told reporters that the meeting would focus on areas of mutual concern, including counterterrorism, military affairs, energy, consular affairs, and regional foreign policy.

Yesterday, Prince Saud met with Vice President Dick Cheney at the White House to discuss issues of mutual interest. Prince Turki was present at that meeting as well.

Prince Saud Al-Faisal has been in Washington for the second Saudi-US Strategic Dialogue, which took place yesterday. The Dialogue aims to institutionalize relations between the two countries.
