Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr Hashem Yamani will discuss economic reform in the Kingdom in an address to the Chicago Council on Foreign Relations Thursday, June 22. The event will be held at the Park Hyatt Chicago from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

Dr Yamani has been Minister of Commerce and Industry since May 2003. Prior to his current position, he served as Minister of Industry and Electricity from 1995-2003, as Director of the Department of Energy Resources at the Research Institute of the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and as Vice President of the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. Dr Yamani holds a PhD in physics from Harvard University.
