King Abdullah issues pardons for some prisoners

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has pardoned prisoners on the occasion of his visit to several of the Kingdom’s provinces, the Royal Court announced today. The pardon does not include prisoners who committed serious crimes or those who pose a danger to society.

King Abdullah also ordered that payment be issued on behalf of prisoners owe debts or blood money and are not financially able to meet their obligation.

The King today paid a visit to the Eastern Province.
