King Abdullah meets with Shura Council members

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz met with members of the Shura (Consultative) Council from the southern regions of Jizan, Asir and Najran at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh today.

In remarks to the Council members, King Abdullah said that they will be pleased by the State Budget, which will be announced tomorrow.

The King noted that some development projects in Jizan, Asir and Najran are still awaiting contractors to execute them. He said that he has directed the Minister of Commerce to approach small business owners about the possibility of merging so that they can carry out the projects in question.
King Abdullah also praised the unity of the Saudi people and strongly denounced terrorists. He stressed that terrorists are criminals prompted by Satan and that they have been defeated.
