Saudi human rights society condemns Israeli attacks on Lebanon

The Saudi National Society for Human Rights has condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, in particular yesterday’s massacre at Qana, in which many innocent civilians were killed.

“We would like to condemn the Israeli barbaric aggression against Lebanon which led to the killing of civilians and destruction of infrastructure installations,” the society said in a statement issued today.

The statement characterized the Israeli attacks as a violation of UN principles and basic human rights, and called for international action to end the violence.

The Makkah-based Muslim World League also condemned the Israeli attacks today and called for an immediate cease-fire.
