National oil company Saudi Aramco last week signed contracts to develop its 1.2 million barrel per day Khurais Increment Program, according to a statement on Aramco’s Web site.

The Khurais Increment Program is one of the largest industrial projects in the world and the largest crude increment in Aramco’s history.

The Khurais crude contract was signed with the Italian company Snamprogetti, while the Khurais gas contract was signed with a consortium of Hyundai Engineering & Construction and Foster-Wheeler Energy.
