King Abdullah holds talks with Turkish prime minister

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz held talks with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Jeddah last night.

The two leaders discussed the latest regional and international developments, in particular the Palestinian issue and the situation in Iraq. Bilateral relations were addressed as well.

The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz, chief of General Intelligence Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Culture and Information Iyad Madani.

King Abdullah also held a banquet in honor of Prime Minister Erdogan last night. Before leaving the Kingdom, the Prime Minister traveled to Makkah today to perform the umrah and visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
