Saudi Arabia celebrates Eid Al-Fitr on October 23

Saudi Arabia will celebrate the Eid Al-Fitr on Monday, the Supreme Judiciary Council announced last night. The Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.


Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has received numerous congratulatory calls on the occasion of the Eid from Muslim leaders, including Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayid Al-Nahayyan, Omani Sultan Qaboos bin Said and King Hamad Al-Khalifa of Bahrain.
