King Abdullah meets with Vice President Cheney

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh tonight visiting US Vice President Dick Cheney. King Abdullah and Cheney discussed regional and international issues, notably the Palestinian issue and the situation in Iraq, as well as bilateral relations. 

The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Prince Mit'eb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor Riyadh Province, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Miqrin bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence,  Prince Bandar bin Sultan, Secretary General of National Security Council, Prince Gen. Mit'eb bin Abdullah, Assistant Deputy Commander of the National Guard for Military Affairs, Prince Muhammad bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs,  as well as other senior officials and ministers. Cheney arrived in the Kingdom on a one-day official visit.

King Abdullah also hosted a dinner in the vice president’s honor.
