King Abdullah receives regions’ Governors

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh today Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz and the Governors of the Kingdom’s thirteen provinces.  The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz.  During the meeting King Abdullah urged the Governors to exert greater effort to meet the needs of the citizens to improve their standards of living.  King Abdullah said that the annual meetings are a good opportunity for the Governors to exchange views and ideas in the interest of country and its people.

The Governors were in Riyadh for their 13th annual meeting, which was chaired by Prince Nayef, which reviewed issues pertaining to illegal immigration, growing number of panhandlers, fraud, people suffering from psychological problem, and ways to activate the regional councils.
