Saudi Arabian Airlines to transport 100,000 Iranian pilgrims this Hajj season

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) has started Hajj flights from eight Iranian cities to Saudi Arabia in accordance with an agreement signed earlier between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

 

SAA's Director-General Dr. Khaled bin Bakr said that under the agreement SAA will transport about 100,000 Iranian pilgrims from Tehran, Asfihan, Shiraz, Karman, Mash'had, Yazd, Sari and Bosh'har to Saudi Arabia. Under the same agreement, SAA transported some 250,000 Iranian for umrah [the minor pilgrimage] performers aboard 900 flights from 12 Iranian cities, Dr. Bin Bakr added.
