Bank staff donate one day’s pay for tsunami victims

Staff at the National Commercial Bank (NCB) donated one day’s salary toward relief aid for the victims of the tsunami disaster, while the bank itself contributed SR3 million to the humanitarian cause. NCB Chairman and Managing Director Abdulla Bahamdan said the bank’s contribution came as a generous gesture in a show of brotherhood and sympathy towards others affected by disaster and in solidarity with the international community, since the Kingdom is influenced by what happens elsewhere in the world, Arab News reported today.
