IIRO providing relief for tsunami victims

The Jeddah-based International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) has provided tsunami victims in Indonesia with over 200 tons of food. More than 10,000 families have so far benefited from this relief aid of rice, sugar, milk, dried fish and cooking oil. The IIRO has also conducted a field survey on the situation of orphans at the camps of those displaced as the result of the tsunami.


Meanwhile, the relief delegation headed by Chairman of the Saudi Red Crescent Society Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Suwailim has concluded its 12-day inspection tour of the disaster area.
