Participants in the four-day Counter-Terrorism International Conference continued their discussions in Riyadh today. During its fourth and fifth plenary sessions, recommendations from the ongoing workshops were discussed with the aim of formulating a final communiqué.

Spokesman for the conference General Mansour Al-Turki briefed the media last night on the second day of the conference. Salient points raised by the participants include references to the root causes of terrorism as poverty, violation of human rights, and inequitable distribution of wealth.
