Prince Nayef leaves Sudan after signing security agreements

Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz returned from Khartoum today after a three-day visit, during which he was received by Sudanese President Lt.-General Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir.

Yesterday, Prince Nayef and Sudan’s Interior Minister Major-General Abdulmajeed Muhammad Hussein signed two security agreements, one concerning the fight against terrorism and the other on criminal activities. Following the signing ceremony, Prince Nayef reiterated that Saudi Arabia, having faced terrorism, is determined to eradicate it; and that terrorist acts defame Islam and spread chaos.
