A Royal Order was issued today approving in principle amendments to the organization of the organs dealing with the judiciary and with the resolution of disputes, following recommendations by a ministerial committee. The Royal Order also approved finalization of the legal procedures for amending the relevant regulations.

Minister of Justice Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-AsShaikh commented that the new judicial regulations complete the series previously issued, and will improve the mechanisms and performance of the judiciary. One of the main features is the establishment of one supreme court to be based in Riyadh; another is the setting up of specialized systems of labor courts and commercial courts.
