Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received in Riaydh today the U.S. delegation, led by Vice-President Dick Cheney and including former President George H.W. Bush and former Secretary of State Colin Powell, that came to offer condolences on the death of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz on August 1, 2005.
King Abdullah and Vice-President Cheney also held a bilateral meeting at the King’s ranch at Jenadriyah, near Riyadh. During the meeting, which covered issues discussed when then-Crown Prince Abdullah met with U.S. President George W. Bush at his Texas home in April this year, an invitation was issued to King Abdullah for a State visit to the United States.
