Crown Prince Sultan to address UN 2005 World Summit

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz left Jeddah today on a tour abroad that will include New York, where he will address the United Nations 2005 World Summit on September 15, prior to the 60th session of the UN General Assembly. On his departure, the Crown Prince commented on the Kingdom’s concern for global peace and stability, and its efforts to work through the United Nations for an effective strategy to achieve a lasting and comprehensive cooperation for the good of all humanity.

In his speech to the United Nations on behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Sultan will touch on a number of issues, including the war on terrorism, the energy crisis, and reforms needed for mankind’s genuine progress. While in New York, he will take the opportunity of the Summit to meet and consult with a number of world leaders.
