A security spokesman at the Ministry of Interior today denied press reports that some repenters who had been involved in terror acts were released. He added that only persons who had gone through the required procedures would be released.

The spokesman said that some people who had been influenced by the deviant ideas were released after they were convinced that their previous ideas had lacked soundness. Those individuals were interrogated by the Shariah committees in all regions of the Kingdom.
