Interior Minister calls for Saudis captured in Iraq to be extradited

Minister of Interior Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz noted Saudi Arabia’s significant role in fighting terrorism, and described the Kingdom as a pioneer in that area. In a press conference Saturday, Prince Nayef called for international cooperation in fighting terrorism. He said that some Saudi youths are currently in Iraq, and that the Kingdom has requested that any Saudis captured in Iraq be extradited to the Kingdom. Prince Nayef said that there are restrictions on Saudis who try to travel to Iraq, but some are entering Iraq via other countries, and that the Kingdom has reviewed the issue with other countries that border Iraq.
