Ground-breaking ceremony for new IEFS headquarters to be held in Riyadh

A high-level assembly will be held in Riyadh November 19 to mark the ground-breaking ceremony for the permanent headquarters of the International Energy Forum Secretariat (IEFS). Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz called for the establishment of such headquarters as Crown Prince, and its fruition is the result of Saudi Arabia’s successful effort to promote dialogue between oil exporting and importing countries. Saudi Arabia has granted land in Riyadh’s diplomatic enclave for the construction of the new headquarters, and will shoulder the entire cost of its construction.
