Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah met with US Homeland Security Advisor Frances Townsend in Riyadh today. Townsend conveyed a message to King Abdullah from President George W. Bush.
King Abdullah also met with a US congressional delegation led by Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Nebraska). The US delegation also included Sen. John Sununu (R-New Hampshire), Rep. Vic Snyder (D-Arkansas) and Rep. Ellen Tauscher (D-California). They discussed Saudi-US cooperation on a variety of issues.
Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal also met separately with both Townsend and the congressional delegation today.
