IIRA establishes 14 orphanages

The secretary-general of the Jeddah-based International Islamic Relief Agency (IIRA), Dr Adnan Basha, said today that his organization is caring for 28,000 orphans and has established 14 orphanages in a number of countries, including Azerbaijan, Jordan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Syria, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, India and Yemen.  The group is also caring for 3,000 orphans in Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo. All of the orphanages are provided with the necessary social, education and health services.
