Crown Prince Abdullah receives message from Tunisian President

Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received a message yesterday from President Zine Al-Abidine bin Ali of Tunisia, delivered in Riyadh by Tunisian Foreign Minister Al-Habeeb bin Yahya, who also met with Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector-General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz. During his visit, the Tunisian minister held talks with Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, and co-signed a memorandum of understanding on mutual political consultation; and today he met with Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr Hashim Yamani to review issues pertaining to trade and industrial relations. In 2002, the volume of trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Tunisia amounted to SR 145 million [U.S. $ 38.72 million], Saudi exports accounting for SR 119 million [$ 31.78 million], and imports totaling SR 26 million [$ 6.94 million].
