Oil minister confirms Saudi production at 9.5 million bpd

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Al-Naimi confirmed in a press statement today that the Kingdom’s oil production remains at 9.5 million barrels per day, a level maintained since August within the framework of efforts by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to meet the increasing demand for oil. Saudi Arabia, he said, has no problems in marketing its oil, and as always, works to meet customer requests.
