Arab Thought Foundation plans third conference in December

Governor of Asir Province Prince Khaled Al-Faisal chaired in Rabat, Morocco, today the ninth session of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Thought Foundation. The meeting covered a number of issues including plans for the Foundation's third conference, due to be held in Marrakesh in the first week of December, 2004.

Prince Khaled Al-Faisal commented that the Arab Thought Foundation does not issue recommendations or resolutions, but provides opportunities for exchange of views and encourages Arab thinkers to express their opinions. Its concern is with contemporary problems and brings together businessmen, journalists, academics, politicians, economists and decision-makers. He urged businessmen to extend financial support to organizations engaged in promoting Arab culture and debate.
