Arab foreign ministers conclude meeting in Cairo

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Saud Al-Faisal presided over the two-day extraordinary meeting of the foreign ministers of the League of Arab States which concluded in Cairo yesterday with an announcement by Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher that agreement had been reached on a document concerning the League’s development that will be submitted to the Arab leaders during the upcoming Summit in Tunisia. The document, he said, covers the tripartite initiative and proposals on reforms, and will be finalized today. He added that this agreement demonstrates that there is no dispute among the Arab states.
